I work up a good sweat with each workout and I know that they are safe for both myself and the baby which is reassuring. I also love the daily quotes and meditation reminders because pregnancy can be stressful! They remind me that what I’m going through is normal and that everything is going to be okay.
Weirdest pregnancy craving
Mashed potatoes and waffles. At the same time. ALL the time.
A relaxing night is…
A glass of wine (obviously not right now!) and a big fuzzy blanket. Bonus points if my two black labs decide to join me for a cuddle session on the couch.
Running is my passion but I’ve found it to be a little too challenging to continue regularly during this pregnancy with my newfound center of gravity location and lack of balance. Instead, I’ve been doing more full body lifting and barre workouts which I’ve really come to enjoy.
Planner stickers and supplies. I could literally spend hours planning out my weeks with color-coded stickers and pens.
Words of wisdom
It’s all temporary and every single thing you are struggling with during your pregnancy has been encountered by other pregnant women before you. Take time for yourself when you can and be a little selfish – you deserve it. After all, you are growing another human which is pretty impressive stuff!
